Vanilla Deco was born in 2011 from a love of interiors, furniture and all things old. I have been reinventing the interior of my own home for years, adding and changing style and colours, furniture and accessories on a regular basis.
Over the years many people have asked me for informal interiors advice and guidance and sourcing and painting furniture. Moving from antiques and furniture I studied at KLC school of Design and work alongside established designers. I take on all types of interior design projects for clients including colour consultancy, developing decorating schemes and room concepts, space planning, sourcing vintage and new items and de-cluttering / staging.
For every project I take on it is essential that the interiors reflect who lives, uses or works in a space. A house is a home, It obviously has to look inviting and stylish, but I want it to reflect those that live in it rather than create a generic, glossy and often impersonal interior. I really am passionate about creating cost effective and environmentally sustainable interiors to enhance people's spaces and lives.
